LASER TREATMENTS

Over time, our skin develops unwanted lesions due to ageing, sun exposure, and environmental damage. Ablative laser resurfacing can effectively remove these lesions and moles, using precise laser technology.

At Windsor Gardens Dermatology, we use the Sciton® Erbium Laser, a gold-standard resurfacing laser that delivers powerful results with customisable precision.

✔ Precise lesion removal
✔ Comfortable treatment with topical anaesthetic
✔ Short downtime for long lasting result

Erbium ablative laser targets water in the skin, so when the laser reaches the skin, it removes the top laser of the skin in precise manner. This is particularly helpful in removing unwanted benign lesions on the face, where it matters most.

How does ablative laser resurfacing work?

How many sessions will I need?

Is ablative laser resurfacing painful?

A topical numbing cream is applied beforehand, making the treatment comfortable.

How long does it take to see results?

The results are visible immediately as shallow open sores. The treatment sites will heal within 5-7 days. Some patients may have mild redness over the treatment sites, which can be easily covered up with make up until they fade over weeks. Sun protection is essential before and after erbium laser ablation.

How much downtime should I expect?

5-7 days with mild redness in some patients which can last for number of weeks.

Will my skin look natural after treatment?

Once the treatment sites are healed and redness are gone, it will look very natural. Unwanted scarring is very rare.

How long do results last?

With good skincare and sun protection, results can last years, though maintenance treatments may be recommended.

Can this treatment be combined with others?
